DIABLO (JEWEL CASE)

DIABLO (JEWEL CASE) Review

At the time this came out it was simply amazing.
Now its really really dated.
Your not missing out on much story if you played the 2nd one and not the first, there wasn't much in the line of story.

If you missed it and want to see what all the talk is about, burning through the game on single player isn't very long or hard so try it out.
Then if you want the real experience, you will spend hours and hours trying to find the cow level, just to realize everyone is full of $#!t.

If you plan on taking your guy to 50, I would recommend the sorcerer.
You end up putting out way more damage than the other two along with mana shield, nearly doubling your health.

I'll give a 5/5 for being awesome for its time.
Diablo 3 will be out someday (prolly like 2012)

Puzz3D CD: The Orient Express

Puzz3D CD: The Orient Express Review

1. I really didn't expect the Orient Express to be quite so Pricey. I have in my possession a box with 4ea computer puzzles, The Orient Express, The Bavarian Castle,Notre Dame Cathedral and Victorian Mansion. I cannt be certain now but I dont think I paid as much for the four Puzzle as you are charging for the one.
2. I have had it for longer than two years and when I bored and want somthing to do I pick one and start all over again. It was put out by the same company WREBBIT. I would rate them as the best game I have found for computer enthusiast. My friend is very happy with their gift.
3. The package was a little beatup when I got it but the game works great. This makes me fell like I'm ealing with a reputable Company. I willl order again in the future.

Puzz3D CD: The Orient Express Overview

This software is BRAND NEW. Packaging may differ slightly from the stock photo above. Please click on our logo above to see over 15,000 titles in stock.

Puzz3D CD: The Orient Express Specifications

You are sitting on a luxurious lapis-lazuli-blue settee, surrounded by mahogany paneling and delectable culinary treats, riding Europe's most exquisite long-distance passenger train. It is 1922, and 40 intriguing ticket holders have boarded the newly designed train, the Orient Express, for a historic, event-filled journey from Paris to (then-named) Constantinople, covering 1,980 miles in less than 80 hours.

Before your elegant excursion, Puzz 3-D invites you to help construct this famous train. Taking on the project is hard work, but it comes with rewards. Orient Express begins with four puzzle levels: easy, average, challenging, and super challenging, each offering a different ticket status with the completion of the puzzle. Whichever level you choose to tackle, the pieces are laid out before you on a construction table complete with organization trays; snapshots of the finished Orient Express; historic sound, text, and video clips; and the optional timer.

Once completed, you board the train as an invisible presence--perfect for giving you access to passengers' personal information. Your passage crosses European country after country (no border patrols yet!), but your sole landscape is the plush train interior and your exotic fellow travelers, including a flapper, an Egyptologist, a famous French movie star, and even a psychic. The famed Madame Sosotris, known for her clairvoyant powers (and the only one who can see you), invites you aboard to be "destiny's agent," affecting the outcome of this fateful ride. Information and character clips, as well as mahjong tiles (Sosotris's tools for her psychic powers), lead you to answer questions and puzzles regarding a few of the suspicious passengers.

This 3-D puzzle provides hours of entertainment. The historical video segments and sound clips will help players glean a better understanding of the development of railroad travel, as well as its continuing allure outside the United States. In addition, the train itself has a story to tell. Orient Express takes advantage of its rich and mysterious past, making the CD-ROM much more than just a puzzle. --Madeleine Miller

In the 1st Degree

In the 1st Degree Review

An involving, complex game. Interview suspects, review interrogations and then go to trial. It took several seperate interviews and interrogating of suspects and witnesses to finally get a "murder in the first degree" verdict but it was fun playing each and every time. You have a dead art gallery owner and a jealous partner who has guilt written all over him, your job is to make him reveal all on the witness stand, just like an old "Perry Mason" episode. You interview the victim's wife, the art gallery flunkie/gopher, and the girlfriend of the jealous partner. How you handle the qustioning of these witnesses is key to finding the evidence you need to nail the murderer. I loved playing this game. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes problem solving and a challenge. If your style of game is the "shoot-em-up and blasting everything in sight"style of game, you will disappointed because this game uses the brain over brawn style of game play. I give this game an enthusiastic 5*'s!

The socially connected wife of the victim? Perhaps his bitter apprentice? Was it self-defense or cold-blooded murder?

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Mac)

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Mac) Review

This is the first game I've ever bought for my computer. I'm enjoying the distraction but I find the crime scenes restricted. You are only allowed to look at things when the pointer turns green so all you have to do is run the pointer up and down the screen until it turns green to find any evidence that needs to be found. So there is not a chance that you will miss something. When you are trying to retrieve evidence and use the wrong item, the game tells you instead of destroying the evidence. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you are spoon fed everything and there is not much challenge. My 14 year old, on the other hand, does find the game a challenge and enjoys playing.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Mac) Feature

  • Adventure game based on the hit TV series
  • Piece together the shocking truth behind 5 baffling crimes
  • Features the characters from the show
  • Use an arsenal of forensic equipment, including fingerprint dusters, UV lights, casting kits, and much more
  • For 1 player

The Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff Pack

The Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff Pack Review

We have many Sims 2 expansion packs for our Mac, and nearly all of them have given us problems on installation. "Holiday" is no exception.

For us, following the standard method resulted in the message "An internal error has occurred. You will not be able to install this software." Real encouraging.

The Solution (from [...] tech support):

"As far as we have seen, this is the only expansion pack or stuff pack that has this problem. It is possible to get the Happy Holidays stuff pack to install if you actually drag the installer icon from the disc to your desktop and launch it from the desktop."

So we dragged the installer from the CD to our hard drive, double clicked on it and then it worked.

Their posted solution is over two years old. Too bad they can't fix their installer, or at least update their documentation with this tip.

Hope this helps.

Lost Planet Extreme Condition

Lost Planet Extreme Condition Review

Lost Planet Review

The graphics are absolutely amazing except when dealing with the human enemies. The snow pirates are crudely drawn sprites that resemble a cross between a Sand Person (from Star Wars) and an arctic expedition. The scale of monsters like the snow worms in Mission 3, or the giant moth from Mission 5 is just incredible. I've never seen this on a PC game before. I checked the specs for the Xbox 360 and PS3 only to find it was "top of the line" when they debuted. Almost any 0-0 PC setup today would have significantly more processing muscle for games, so why aren't we seeing more graphics-rich games today except for Crysis?

The controls take time to become familiar, because it was a crudely ported game from the Xbox 360 platform. When you've gotten comfortable with 1 control setup for Wayne and his VS's, you find that it no longer becomes efficient for another VS - especially the last VS that resembles a cross between a Gundam, Appleseed/Vexille suit, and something out of Soul Caliber.

The latest version of Lost Planet is automatically installed when you log onto Steam, so you get the bonus downloadable content which isn't much to write home about.

Pros: Great graphics (except for human enemies), robot suits galore, decent Akrid AI, interesting Akrid bosses, and a riveting plot.

Cons: Quirky control setup due to it being a Xbox 360 port, the mechs/VS's aren't all that great, and the human AI gets annoying at times.

Overall: 4/5

Lost Planet Extreme Condition Feature

  • Frenetic action - Lost Planet is a fast-paced third-person shooter with all the depth, intrigue, and intensity of a science ficiton classic.
  • On-Foot and In-Vehicle Modes - Command heavily armed bipedal vehicles or switch to more stealthy exploration on-foot.
  • Vast and Vivid Environments - Snowstorms, arctic winds, towering buildings and mountains of ice create cinematic stunning visuals and breathtaking landscapes!
  • Next-Gen Realism ¿ Immerse yourself in the brutal chilling world of Lost Planet as you labor through waist-deep snow, hear the crunch of ice with each step, and fly backward from explosive force during battle
  • Alien Encounters ¿ Face off with an array of Akrid, from massive rolling behemoths and long-legged ground-dwellers to fast-flying swarms overhead!

Lost Planet Extreme Condition Overview

In Lost Planet, human snow pirates navigate VS (Vital Suits) through hostile ice-covered environments, fighting against the indigenous Akrid creatures for the precious thermal energy they need to survive. For one such pilot named Wayne, death almost seemed imminent until he was fortunately rescued. However, he can only remember a few fragments of his past including the slaying of his father by the monstrous beings. Yet under the veil of ice, a devious plot has been set into motion by NEVEC. What really happened to Wayne and how will his destiny become intertwined with NEVEC’s plans?

You Don't Know Jack

You Don't Know Jack Review

This is one of my favorite games ever! Unfortunately, the only ones they sell on Amazon are the original versions that were made for older computers. You can buy updated versions of the games that play on Windows XP from Jellyvision's YouDontKnowJack website (they created the game). Hours of entertainment. If you have an older computer and want to play the best trivia game ever made - buy this game! I believe they have made over 5 different versions over the years, even specific games all about movies, all about sports and all about TV. If you don't remember these games, you can play new, daily YDKJ on the YDKJ website and see how much you love them before you buy the older (and much longer and more fun) games.

Freaky Creatures Trappern & Dracon Starter Pack

Freaky Creatures Trappern & Dracon Starter Pack Review

I was looking around for something to get my nephew for his birthday, and I came across this Freaky Creatures starter pack.
What appealed to me was not only does it come with a pair of action figures, but also a 1gig thumbdrive with the online video game on it so he could play online, so it was like getting 2 gifts in one.
He ended up getting lots of stuff like transformers and other toys and I wasnt sure if he would like Freaky Creatures, but he LOVED it.
The toys themselves are not cheap, they are pretty tough and of good quality.
We inserted the thumbdrive and installed the game and it came with a 30 day free online account (nice surprise).
That was last month, now he wants the add-on pack for more creatures to play with online.
It's a pretty fun game that gives you lots of fun creatively and playing online is pretty safe and enjoyable.
I highly recommend FREAKY CREATURES!

Freaky Creatures Trappern & Dracon Starter Pack Feature

Freaky Creatures Trappern & Dracon Starter Pack Overview

Freaky Creatures combines the best of online multiplayer gaming, collectible action figures, virtual worlds and social networking. Take your creatures online and customize them with parts and powers to create one of 3.2 billion possible combinations. Once you have created your unique creature, jump straight into battle or build a lair where you can care for your creature and hang out with friends. Visit the community to personalize your own homepage, play mini-games, join tournaments, check leaderboards, trade items, read animated comics, enter contest, form teams, and much more in the ever expanding Freaky Creatures Universe. This package includes 2 Freaky Creatures Collectible Action Figures, Trappern & Dracon. Bred in the infamous Gardens of Illian, the Trapperns grew into threatening creatures that preferred human snacks to flies. In an attempt to create a docile houseplant, the gardeners found themselves overrun with hungry Trapperns. Recognizing their value, the corporations uprooted them and readied the Trapperns for battle. Of all the creatures Trapperns are the most mischievous. They enjoy scaring people and causing chaos. The Dracons are a fierce race that dominated Magol until the corporations moved in. These aggressive creatures are natural fighters, and even a Dracon's trainer knows better than to upset one. While Dracons don't have a culture, they do seem to have more intelligence than one would expect. They are crafty hunters who use their brains as well as their brawn to back own prey.

Age of Empires (Mac)(Pre OSX)

Age of Empires (Mac)(Pre OSX) Review

This is probably the best civilazation game ever!! Even though it sometimes crashes on IMac's, In aoe you can choose from random map games to scenario builder to death match to playing ageanst other people in multi player. After about a month or two of playing you end up likeing one army over others and liking different warriors. THe only real dissapointment is that there is no aoe 2 for mac's yet. THe first time I played this game I sat down at about 9a.m. and didn't get up until about 3pm later that afternoon, this game is very addicting and time flys when you play it. HINT: STAY AWAY FROM THE CHEATS!!!! they end up completely ruining your playing experience and make the game so much easier. So if you want a real challenge stay away from the cheats!! THis game is deffinately worth the money and is good to play when you want to waste time or when you are really bored. The combat in this game is amazing sence every army is very different and even though it takes a little while to get to the combat part. In random map you start out with very few resources and only three villagers that you have to put to work to gathering wood, food, gold, and stone to build a strong civilazation and advance through the ages. In death match you start with a ton of resources that will almost allways last you through the game. In this you also start out with only three villagers but you don't need to gather resources and you can more easily get to the later ages. In death match the combat is hard late in the game and it gets almost impossible if you run out of any of the resources. If you are in a rush for somthing and you have 15 minutes to kill this is not somthing you would want to do because chances are you wont stop playing for another hour or two. SO OVER ALL THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST GAME EVER!!

Age of Empires (Mac)(Pre OSX) Overview

Years after being critically acclaimed by Windows gamers, Age of Empires finally arrives for the Mac. Fortunately the game, like the empires it encourages you to emulate, is built to withstand the test of time.

As a real-time strategy game, Age of Empires requires you to gather resources, build cities, defend your lands, and conquer neighboring countries. Rather than casting you in a fantasy or science fiction world, Age of Empires sets you up as the aspiring ruler of any one of a dozen historically prominent civilizations that you must lead through Stone, Tool, Bronze, and Iron ages. The scramble for resources is typical of the genre, but Age of Empires offers some clever variations (for example, food can be hunted, gathered, or harvested) and directly ties technological advancements to a civilization's progress.

Every inch of the struggle is represented by slick unit animations and artfully drawn maps. In scenarios and multiplayer action, strategy is influenced by the culture you choose: use the well-balanced Greeks' advantages by training Phalanx and Centurions to create a legion of foot soldiers; or opt for the Persians, who are hoping to overcome their penalty on food production by quickly deploying their strong cavalry. In the single-player campaign mode, battles and challenges are framed by chapter screens that contain relevant historical context, giving the game some welcome depth. --Jack Gardiner

Pros:

  • Detailed unit animations, lush maps, and scripted events make the game come alive
  • Historical context makes for interesting settings
  • Flexible research paths allow you to either rush toward the Iron Age or make your stand earlier
  • Support for the free Mac-only multiplayer matchup service, GameRanger
Cons:
  • Interface is occasionally awkward
  • Only Mac vs. Mac multiplayer

Age of Empires (Mac)(Pre OSX) Specifications

Age of Empires is an epic, real-time strategy game spanning 10,000 years. Starting with minimal resources, players guide the evolution of small Stone Age tribes into great civilizations. Gamers can choose one of several ways to win the game, including world domination by conquering enemy civilizations, exploration of the known world, and economic victory through the accumulation of wealth.

The Sims 2 (Mac)

The Sims 2 (Mac) Review

The Sims 2 is a vast improvement from the Sims 1, which was already quite good in its own right. A lot of things have been added, revised and improved upon. Mostly little things that people probably take for granted, but I don't. A few little things I love are the weekends in S2 now. Now, the Sims go through a five day work or school week and actually get Saturday and Sunday off (unless they have to work) so that they can not only rest, but have a chance to interact with family and friends like regular people (and you also get vacation days). Sims can lounge in bed or on furniture and read a book or daydream and it's it's much more realistic. I also like that on sofas Sims can sit and talk and interact with each other without having to keep standing up which they seemed to do for some reason on the Sims 1.

Also, I like couple interactions like cuddle, make out or kiss on sofas as well, much more realistic. Some of the best improvements are for people who like to play the game in a more 'family style'. I know a lot of people probably don't and that's just fine, but for those who like having families, it is wonderful to have children in the family and they actually grow up. So now you don't have to keep kids as kids all the time as you did in the Sims 1. If you get a baby, it becomes a toddler who you can play with and teach to walk, talk, etc. but just when you're tired of the toddler it becomes a more independent child. Wonderful! I enjoy having a couple have a baby together and raise it from infant up through adult where they can then move out of the house and have kids of their own. You can have a family go through generations if you play long enough.

AI is wonderful and the Sims actually pretty good in making their own decision without you Lording over them. The only big problems I noticed is with the baby. Some Sims will just lay the baby on the floor and leave it if they want to go to the bathroom or watch TV!!! it may seem funny but it's not really. I was appalled to notice the baby just laying on the kitchen floor.

I even enjoy a lot of interactions for the teens like 'sneak out of house' to be with a boyfriend or girlfriend 'use acne cream' I just found that funny and use computer to email or chat with friends, though this does not seem to have any impact on friend levels.

Also, the Pregnant Sims function is cool too, in that the pregnant Sim will get bigger and bigger, walk different and even go through morning sickness.

I also like food choices, in that instead of putting in patches in the game, the more cooking skills you acquire you can cook more meals, like very realistic looking meals like pancakes, steak, bacon and eggs and grilled cheese. Yum!

the 'create a sim' screen is extremely customizable and I love it. You can fix Sims from their eyebrows, eye color, chin, hair, nose, etc. It's almost too much. You can create a total freak Sim if you wish and that's pretty scary. I love that you can even have make up. Also, if you create a baby with a couple you have an option to create a baby that resembles the couple, however, and it's usually pretty accurate. You can also relate the Sims on that screen as family or roommates or siblings. Thumbs up to the changes on this screen.

Overall, I think this was a big step up from Sims 1. Play is smooth, visuals are great, Sims look even better and so does furniture and clothes.

There are however some cons.

WARDROBE-->

What I'm not to fond of is the wardrobe function. Now, in order for your Sim to change clothes they have to go downtown to a clothing store and 'buy' them, which means if you had hundreds of skins you have to pay for them and buy them ALL in order for them to appear as an option to wear. Tedious, expensive and tiresome when all they had to do was appear in the closet like the first game.

ASPIRATIONS -->

I don't mind the aspirations, however, they are limiting in if you have a couple and one has a knowledge aspiration and one has a romance aspiration, they don't falter. The Romance Sim only wants to make out and couple up with as many sims as possible and the Knowledge Sim only wants to get more skill points. And for example, if you want them to have a baby the Romance Sim may have a fear of having a baby, so if they do then one of their fears have been realized which could make them have a shorter life. It's annoying to say the least. To me, any Romance sims can't be in a couple, they have to all be single and loving it. The Aspirations are very tight in their demands.

BUILDING-->

Building houses is a little complicated. You actually have to lay foundation in order to build a room, and it gets more involved to build decks and stairs. Building up gets tricky as you can't go to high because you hit the ceiling and staircases take up so much room you have to have a HUGE space for them, the same with fireplaces. Furniture in S2 are giant sized (to me) and you need bigger rooms. Beds take up the whole room. Lots don't accommodate you, in my opinion and give you enough building space.

As usual, the expansions are great and add a lot, however, I would not buy any of the 'glamorous life' type expansions because user creations are just as good, or better and are FREE. I think this runs great on a Mac, but unfortunately you do need a good one. I happened to have just bought a brand new G5 with a terabyte HD and 4 gigs of memory and finally decided to buy S2. It is unfair the specs you need, but if you have the requirements it is fun to play. Otherwise, you're fine with Sims 1 which is still very good.

I recommend Sims 2 and I recommend a couple expansions like University. Unfortunately Mac users can't get "Apartment Life" which has a lot of user creations and you need that one to use them. You need a few expansion in order to take advantage of the user creations online, but for the most part you can do okay with just the base game. I love it and have not had any tech problems yet.

The Sims 2 (Mac) Specifications

The Sims was one of the most popular games ever made. In it, players micromanage the lives of a family of virtual people, or Sims, and influence their paths toward success or something akin to a nervous breakdown. Its open-ended blend of cartoonish behavior and everyday living is unique in an art form otherwise obsessed with carnage and sports. With The Sims 2, longtime fans now have a deeper game with lots of ways to customize and share their experiences. The game will also attract first-timers because the goal-oriented gameplay and the luridly fun starter families make it easier to get into the action right out of the box.

Now Sims are born with the traits of their parents, families grow, and Sims grow old.

The People in Your Neighborhood
The game starts at the neighborhood level. Here you can create a housing development from scratch or start with one of three premade neighborhoods, each with its own theme. From there, you'll settle on a house and a family of Sims to control.

The Sims 2 body shop
Create your own Sim (above) or your own house (below) from scratch with advanced tools.
The Sims 2 house-building tools
Aside from the basic needs carried over from the previous game, Sims now have aspirations, wants, and fears. The wants and fears are the day-to-day things that occupy their minds, like wanting to see friends or get married and fearing death or being rejected for a kiss. Satisfy their wants, and they become more efficient at completing tasks you assign them. Realize their fears, and Sims become lethargic, cranky, and unresponsive to your commands. Aspirations are the big-picture things, like raising a family, becoming wealthy, and gaining knowledge. Succeed here and you'll be able to buy odd gifts for your Sim to improve his or her life, like a money tree that pays dividends or a "fountain of youth" water cooler.

What Else Is New?
Of course, you wouldn't be able to juggle all that if it weren't for the improved "Free Will" option, which makes it easier for Sims to fulfill their basic needs. The artificial intelligence of the game is noticeably improved; they won't turn on radios just as a family member is going to bed but, strangely, they do occasionally put their dishes on the floor.

Another big change in the series is the concept of the lifespan. Now Sims are born with the traits of their parents, families grow, and Sims grow old. Not only does this go hand in hand with aspirations (growing up is the first aspiration that a baby Sim will have), it provides a limited time with which your Sims can achieve their goals.

Sims in live mode
The Universal Control Panel helps you manage your Sim family.
A Family Affair
The Sims 2 not only lets you create just about any type of Sim in any type of family, build elaborate houses, and even create a neighborhood from scratch, but it also allows you to start the game in medias res, with premade households. These families all have backstories that are smart spoofs of soap-opera plots--lots of scheming, romance, ghosts, and family fighting. Parents of teens shouldn't worry, though, because nudity is tastefully blurred out and "woo-hoo" between Sims takes place completely under the covers. The ESRB has given this a Teen rating. If The Sims 2 were a film, it would likely land between PG and PG-13.

The makers have included some nice tools to help share the universe you've created. For example, you can capture in-game stills and video to show friends the private moments, family interactions, and house parties of your Sims. You can even package a household to share as a blog or an album on a special Web site.

The Sims 2 is for patient gamers. Like life itself, the game is filled with mundane details, like getting ready for work and doing dishes. The game also demands a level of creativity from its players that the run-and-gun game genres wouldn't know what to do with. But those who stick with it will be rewarded with an absorbing, amusing diversion and a virtual family history that they've created themselves. --Porter B. Hall

Spy Fox: Operation Ozone Specifications

SPY Fox is out to save the world again in his latest thriller, Operation Ozone. In this episode, the iniquitous Poodles Galore has launched a giant can of hairspray into space, and the aerosol is slowly blasting away at the ozone layer. Unless SPY Fox can outwit Poodles, the citizens of the world will be forced to buy Poodles's super-powerful SPF 2001 sunscreen to protect themselves from the ravaging sun.

Anyone who loves SPY Fox games won't be disappointed. The meat of the mission is to collect the ingredients for a Congeal Pill that will put a literal stop to Poodles's hairspray space satellite. To accomplish this, SPY Fox travels all over the world and meets up with an amusing and witty cast of characters. You'll notice here the thoughtfulness that went into creating the game. From Bobby Llama, a Marlon Brando-esque recluse à la Apocalypse Now, to Roger Boar, an undercover agent with a penchant for new hairstyles, the characters are nothing short on character.

And, of course, SPY Fox comes armed with a double-breasted jacket full of spy gadgets to help him outwit Poodles and her goons. The most charming include the Sticky Stun Bun, which explodes caramel and nuts all over enemies, congealing them into one tasty mess. Other favorites include the Grappling Granny, Spy Mint, and Canned Laughter.

Gameplay is slightly complex, but it's nice to see a game that actually challenges kids to think, instead of hand-feeding solutions. Operation Ozone requires that kids pay attention, as clues are dropped left and right that will be of use later in the game, and strong logic skills are certainly an asset. We only got slightly frustrated by the exactness expected in clicking. If you're trying to use a spy gadget, you must move that gadget to exactly the right place or SPY Fox will tell you that's not the right tool for the task.

However, that quibble aside, this is a SPY Fox game not to be missed. In fact, you'll probably be disappointed when you finally finish the mission. But don't fret, there are multiple mini-missions and endings within the game, encouraging replay. In fact, it's so entertaining that parents--and older kids--might even find themselves playing along as well. (Ages 5 to 8) --Ara Jane Olufson

The Sims 2 University Expansion Pack

The Sims 2 University Expansion Pack Review

With the University expansion pack, our old friend, Sims 2, goes to an all new, strange place: college.

There's a lot of new stuff added to the game with this pack. Heck, it's practically a game all on its own! You get a new life-stage for your Sims (young-adult), new aspirations (including ones like "First Woo-Hoo!"), eleven majors your Sim can pick from, fraternities, dorms, campus hang-out spots, places where you can work part time, all new gizmos and doo-dads, etc, etc!

Best of all, when you graduate and your Sim enters the working world, they will almost certainly be hired at the fourth or fifth level of their career! Plus you'll already have a great many skills (especially if you raised your Sim from an infant), and friends, so once you get out into the "real" world, you should have no problem advancing.

There's no down side at all to this game (well, except for the fact that I've never managed to get my Sim into a frat or sorority. Probably because, like me, they're pretty anti-social. I am a gamer, after all). There's all the usual Sims elements we know and love plus all the extras! A total win for "Sims 2" players everywhere!

The Sims 2 University Expansion Pack Feature

  • Enjoy all-new university-age Sims who leave home and take over campus
  • Live in dorms, rush a fraternity, or shack up with friends in their own pad
  • Join a band, crash parties, find a part-time job, and more college-life options
  • Choose from 11 majors; secure the final degree and open up 4 new career paths
  • 100+ new objects and decor items; for 1 player

The Sims 2 University Expansion Pack Overview

Your Sims are now young adults leaving home to live the ultimate college fantasy. Immerse them in college life as they become the Big Sim on Campus.

OttoMatic Review

Pangea Software has done it again! Otto Matic spans 10 alien planets, with you, as Otto, trying to rescue the captured humans from the cluches of the evil brain aliens. You have an array of weapons, the Blaster, Freeze gun, and Flamethrower to name but a few, for you to use in your quest to rescue the farmers, cheerleaders, beehive-hairdoed ladies, etc and kill the giant brain, the leader of the alien invaders. Incredible game overall, altough hard-core shooters with tastes for alien blood might find it a little soft. It is very cartoony, and set in the '50s, and that pretty much tells all. Well, I'm off to zap some slime-balls on planet Snoth. Thanks for reading my review, and I hope you found it helpful.
